The World Public Assembly will host a high-level panel session exploring peacekeeping as a pathway to global stability and cooperation amid shifting geopolitical realities.
This year’s event will be held in Russia in September.
The session, titled “Peacekeeping – a Strategy for Unification and Prosperity of Mankind”, will bring together peacebuilders, scholars, religious leaders, entrepreneurs, investors and philanthropists from across the globe.
Discussions will focus on how peacekeeping can serve as a cornerstone for building a multipolar world order that respects sovereignty, cultural identity and balanced international relations.
Session moderator Alexey Voronov, Head of the Council for the Development of Interreligious Relations at the BRICS International Development Organisation, said the dialogue would emphasise equality and constructive engagement:
“Together we need to determine the true spiritual and moral guidelines of modern society, making them the basis of the worldview of citizens. The revision of relations with the collective West implies not confrontation, but the restoration of cultural self-awareness and the start of an equal dialogue. Peacekeeping is the central force of positive global change,” he stated.
Speakers will examine peacekeeping as more than conflict resolution, stressing its role in philanthropy, cultural renewal and creative cooperation.
Among the goals outlined are the promotion of interfaith dialogue, the expansion of public diplomacy through “Peace Ambassadors”, the development of creative entrepreneurship as a service to society, and reconciliation initiatives to prevent or end wars.
Notable contributors include Mikhail Krasnov, President of the World Union of Peacekeepers; Dr Abdullah Ali Abdullah Neyadi of the UAE, who promotes a global network of “Ambassadors of Happiness”; Holger Thorsten Schubert of Germany, President of the Neutrino Energy Group; Veronica Tan of Malaysia, CEO of Success Resources; and Emaikwu Pesciens of Nigeria, President of the Association of African Youth.
The session will conclude with the signing of a petition aimed at strengthening humanitarian peacekeeping cooperation and advancing public diplomacy worldwide.
Organisers emphasise that the initiative seeks to turn dialogue into actionable strategies for a more harmonious multipolar world.
