“Christmas Come Early” for thousands of Ghanaians this year as Bel Cola’s Santa Claus and cheer team stepped beyond the studio and into everyday spaces, sharing laughter, music and moments that captured the true spirit of the season. Bel Cola, a household name in Ghana’s beverage space, introduced a special “Merry Christmas” label to spread festive cheer nationwide. Dressed with Santa, the duo stepped into everyday lives, sharing moments of joy that turned into memories meant to last a lifetime
At busy markets and roadside vending points across Accra, Tema and Ashaiman, over 1000 hawkers and 50,000+ consumers including market women, pedestrains, commuters and children were pleasantly surprised as Santa danced into their space, accompanied by a lively cheer team. Work briefly paused as festive music played, cold Bel Cola was shared, and spontaneous dancing filled the air, turning ordinary trading hours into joyful Christmas moments. For many, the highlight was not the gifts, but the time spent together. Santa lingered: dancing with hawkers and market women, posing for photos, and clinking bottles of Bel Cola before leaving them Merry Christmas Bel Cola aprons and branded Christmas hats: dressed for the season as parting gifts. In those moments, the pressure of the day gave way to celebration, laughter and shared connection.
The same warmth followed the team into 8 selected orphanages and children’s wards, including Tema General Hospital and Ridge Hospital, where the atmosphere shifted almost instantly. Shy smiles gave way to excitement as over 900 children joined the cheer team for spontaneous dancing, playful dance lessons and shared meals. The children laughed, danced and feasted freely as the music continued. Santa stayed long enough for the joy to settle in, sharing Bel Cola and snacks and creating memories that felt less like a donation visit and more like a family Christmas party.
Across streets, markets and children’s homes, Bel Cola’s “Christmas Come Early” campaign brought the season to life. Bel Cola dressed for Christmas to share happy moments with Ghanaians, the initiative left behind more than festive items, it left lasting reminders that the joy of Christmas is felt most deeply when it is experienced together.
