ECOWAS Chairman and President of Sierra Leone, Julius Maada Bio, has paid a visit to Ghana to honour the memory of the eight Ghanaians who died in Wednesday’s military helicopter crash at Adansi in the Ashanti Region.

The victims included two ministers of state and six others who were on official duty when the aircraft went down on August 6.

At the Ceremonial Gardens of the Jubilee House in Accra, President Bio signed the book of condolence, laid a wreath, and lit a candle in tribute to the fallen.

His visit was to express solidarity with President John Mahama, the Government, and the people of Ghana in their time of national mourning.

President Mahama, Chief of Staff Julius Debrah, Presidential Staffers, Ministers of State, Members of Parliament, among other dignitaries, were present at the Jubilee House to welcome the President of Sierra Leone.
