The Minister for the Interior, Muntaka Mohammed-Mubarak, has opened the Upper West Regional Police Headquarters in Wa, calling for stronger collaboration between the police and the public to maintain law and order in the region.

Speaking at the ceremony, the Minister reaffirmed the government’s commitment to strengthening the Ghana Police Service through sustained investment in logistics, mobility, communication equipment, and infrastructure.

He urged police officers to manage these resources responsibly, stressing the need for accountability and efficient use of public assets.
