The parliamentary aspirant of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Ayawaso East Constituency, Baba Jamal Mohammed Ahmed, has expressed optimism and satisfaction with the conduct of the party’s parliamentary primary after casting his vote.
Speaking to the media shortly after voting, Mr. Mohammed Ahmed said he remained hopeful and prayerful as she awaited the outcome of the contest later in the day.
“What I’m saying is that I’ve just cast my vote,” he said. “I can only hope and pray that God will listen to my prayers and grant me victory in the evening.”
The aspirant noted that the voting process had been orderly and well organised, expressing satisfaction with the arrangements put in place by party officials.
“So far, so good,” he added. “I’m happy with the arrangement.”
Mr Mohammed Ahmed further emphasised her reliance on faith as the process continued, stating that she was trusting in God for a peaceful and successful conclusion to the exercise.
