The group phase of the 2025 Milo U13 Championship ended on Thursday after two days of intense competition among 16 schools at the Paa Joe and Maa Joe Parks at KNUST.
The matches produced consistent excitement and showcased impressive skill.
The major talking point was the exit of Greater Accra’s Weija Gbawe M/A. They won only one group match and needed a final-day victory over Bono Region representatives to progress. Instead, they fell 4-0 to St. Francis R/C Primary.
In Group A, host region side Mim Pie finished top with seven points from two wins and one draw, while Franko International placed second to advance.
Adrobaa from Ahafo Region topped Group B with six points, the same total that carried St. Francis R/C Primary into second place.
Sogasco D/A Primary from Volta Region dominated Group C with a perfect record, while Atebubu MA from Bono East followed with six points.
In Group D, Northern Region’s Kanvili R.C. Primary also posted maximum points to lead the group, progressing with Eastern Region’s Bomso Advent Primary, who finished on six points.
