
Ghana’s economy grows by 6.3 percent for the second quarter of 2025, highest since 2019, data released by Ghana Statistical Service in Accra today has shown.
The expansion was fueled by strong growth from the Services sector, which recorded a 9.9 percent growth rate in terms of sectorial performance.
The Services sector also accounted for the biggest and largest share of Ghana’s Economy and contributed the largest as well.
According to the Ghana Statistical Service, the growth this is the highest posted for the country since 2019
The Services sector contributed “the most” in terms of the overall growth posted in second quarter of 2025 as well as accounting for the largest share of Ghana’s Economy ending the second quarter of this year.
