Ghanaian midfielder Caleb Ofori Manu played a key role as Matebele FC picked up their first victory of the Botswana Premier League season.
The 22-year-old, known for his physical presence and intelligent interceptions, anchored the midfield impressively as Matebele edged past their opponents 2-0 to climb out of the relegation zone.
Ofori, who joined the club in the summer on a two-year deal from Italian side ASD Terni FC, has gradually established himself as one of the team’s most consistent performers this campaign.

The victory eases pressure on former Kaizer Chiefs midfielder and current head coach Reneilwe Letsholonyane, who had not won any of his first five matches.
The win moves Matebele to 13th place with eight points after ten matches, ahead of their next fixture against Nico United.
Ofori will be hoping to build on this momentum and help his side continue their rise in the top flight.
