The Ghana Impact Project has made a significant contribution toward improving the lives of physically-challenged children in Ghana with a $20,000 donation to the Orthopedic Training Centre in Nsawam.
The donation, made in December 2025, was formally presented by Dr Michael Adjei, an anesthesia doctor based in Indiana and a board member of Ghana Impact Project.
The funds will provide prosthetic limbs for 40 children, offering them renewed independence and the ability to live more active lives.
Speaking during the presentation, Dr Adjei praised the resilience and courage of the children benefiting from the program and reaffirmed the organization’s long-term commitment to restoring mobility for those in need.
He emphasised that access to prosthetics goes beyond physical support, describing it as a pathway to dignity, confidence, and opportunity.
Founded in 2021, Ghana Impact Project works closely with the Orthopedic Training Centre to ensure that children receive properly fitted prosthetics and ongoing care.
Prior to this donation, the organisation had already supported over 80 children across the country through similar interventions.
The $20,000 donation was part of funds raised during the organization’s recent gala dinner fundraiser, reflecting the collective effort of donors, partners, and volunteers who share a vision of inclusive healthcare and social impact.
With this latest contribution, Ghana Impact Project continues to strengthen its mission of giving the gift of mobility, reaffirming its role as a key advocate for physically challenged children in Ghana.
