Fulham manager Marco Silva has sounded a caution to his team ahead of their Premier League game against Bournemouth on Friday.
The two teams go head-to-head at the Vitality Stadium with the Cherries hoping to continue their impressive start to the 2025/26 season.
One of the players who will be looking to hurt Fulham is Ghana’s Antoine Semenyo, who has been integral in Bournemouth’s season so far.
While Silva appreciates the threats Semenyo brings, he believes there is more to the Cherries’ game than just the Ghanaian.
“When I say physical side, not talking about the size of the team, [but] physical the way they approach, physical the way they challenge every single moment of the game,” he said.
“It’s not just him [Semenyo]. If you look at the solutions they have in the frontline, it’s not just him. Of course, he’s in a good moment. Last season was very good for him as well.
“I think they are much more than just Semenyo. We have to be aware of them as a team, and not just one player.”
Bournemouth currently sit fifth on the Premier League table with 11 points from six games. Semenyo has been involved in six of the eight goals that the club have scored in the league this season.
