Dr. Albert Antwi-Boasiako, the former Director-General of the Cyber Security Authority (CSA), has been appointed as the Executive Chairman of e-Crime Bureau, following his selection by the newly inaugurated Board of Directors.
Dr. Antwi-Boasiako, a continental cybersecurity leader and prolific author, founded the e-Crime Bureau in 2011 and served as its Principal Consultant until 2017.
He later established the CSA, serving as the Authority’s first Director-General until March 2025.
Under his leadership, the country’s cybersecurity readiness rose from 32.6% in 2017 to 99.27% in 2025, according to the International Telecommunication Union’s Global Cybersecurity Index.
Additionally, he served as the founding Chair of the African Network of Cyber Security Authorities (ANCA), driving pan-African cybersecurity frameworks and collaborating with the Smart Africa Alliance on a five-year continental development blueprint.

The inauguration of the Bureau’s third Governing Board aligns with its Transition and Growth Strategy, aimed at expanding service offerings and extending market reach in Ghana and beyond.
In his new role, Dr. Antwi-Boasiako is expected to provide strategic leadership and drive the Bureau’s positioning as a Pan-African leader in cybersecurity consulting, technology solutions, and business transformation.
Supporting him, Mr. Emmanuel Agyei has been appointed Consulting Chief Executive (CCE), bringing operational leadership to implement the firm’s strategic objectives.

Mr. Daniel Adoteye – Board Member, providing strategic oversight.
Dr. Suzanne Nti – Board Member, bringing expertise in governance and policy.
Professor Goski Alabi – Board Member, noted for contributions to education and organisational strategy.
Mr. Hicham El Achgar – Board Member, with extensive business leadership experience.
Mr. Michael Abbiw – Board Member, specialising in corporate advisory.
Ms. Cecilia Antwi Kyem – Board Secretary, ensuring governance and compliance.
The inauguration ceremony took place on Friday, 28th November 2025, at the Bureau’s offices in Accra.
H.L. Justice Rebecca Sittie, a retired Justice of the High Court, administered the Oath of Office and Oath of Secrecy.
