The Minister of Energy and Green Transition, Dr John Abdulai Jinapor, has called on staff of the Ministry to intensify their efforts to sustain and build on the gains made in the power sector over the past year.
Dr Jinapor made the call on his first official working day of the year, during visits to various departments and offices within the Ministry, where he interacted with staff and expressed gratitude for their commitment and hard work.
Reflecting on developments in 2025, the Minister noted that the Ministry, together with its agencies, had inherited a highly challenging energy sector but managed to engineer a significant turnaround through collective effort and professionalism.

“Together, we confronted the very challenging sector we inherited and achieved a remarkable turnaround. This progress is a testament to the professionalism and unwavering belief in our shared vision, led by His Excellency President John Dramani Mahama,” he stated in a Facebook post.

Dr Jinapor commended staff for their dedication and encouraged them to remain focused and motivated in the year ahead, stressing that sustained effort would be critical to consolidating progress and advancing Ghana’s energy and green transition agenda in 2026.
