Ghanaian gospel musician Diana Hamilton, has officially announced Awake Experience 2026, Ghana’s premier annual worship gathering, slated for February in Accra and Kumasi.
The announcement was made in a press release issued on Thursday, January 15, 2026. The event, which has become a major fixture on the gospel calendar, is expected to once again draw thousands for what organisers describe as profound moments of worship, prayer and divine encounter.
This year’s edition is themed “DWELL”, inspired by Psalm 91:1: “He that dwelleth in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.”
Awake Experience 2026 also marks a significant milestone for its title sponsor, Awake Purified Drinking Water, which is celebrating 10 years of service and impact in Ghana.
Through its One4life initiative, the brand has championed purity, health and community well-being, values organisers say align strongly with the vision of the Diana Hamilton Foundation.
The worship gatherings will be held in Accra on Sunday, February 15, 2026, at ICGC Christ Temple East, Teshie, and in Kumasi on Sunday, February 22, 2026, at Bantama Church of Pentecost.
Ahead of the main events, the Diana Hamilton Foundation will roll out a series of community outreach and corporate engagement activities.
These include a community outreach programme scheduled for January 30, 2026, in the Agogo District at the Church of Pentecost, as well as corporate devotion and engagement sessions with selected organisations, aimed at promoting workplace spiritual well-being and ethical leadership.
Awake Experience 2026 will feature a strong line-up of gospel ministers, including Elder Dr Akwasi Mireku, Tagoe Sisters, Ntokozo Mbambo from South Africa, Siisi Baidoo, Nana Yaw Ofori-Atta and Joojo Arhin.
The event is proudly sponsored by Awake Purified Drinking Water as part of its 10-year anniversary celebrations, with additional support from Jospong Group, Enterprise Life, Property Electronics and Beulah Insurance.
