Ghana international Jerry Afriyie was twice on the scoresheet for RAAL La Louviere in their win over OH Leuven on Saturday.
Afriyie scored both of the goals in the 2-1 win as his side moved to the ninth position on the Belgian Jupiler Pro League table.
The Ghanaian, who joined the club on loan before the start of the season, was handed his third start of the league campaign against Leuven.
The 18-year-old had failed to score in any of his three appearances for the club this season, but it rained goals for him against Leuven.
Leuven took an early lead in the game through Sory Kaba before Afriyie levelled the score for RAAL eight minutes later.
As if that was not enough, the Ghanaian got on the scoresheet again in the 27th minute to put his side ahead before the break.
After the break, the home side looked the more threatening side, but RAAL were able to hold onto their one-goal lead and record their third win of the season.
For Afriyie, the two goals were his first since moving to Belgium from Saudi Arabia’s Al Qadsiah.
