
QNET, a global wellness and lifestyle company, has outlined measures to aid the clearing of misconceptions about its business model in Ghana and the Direct Selling industry in Ghana. QNET has been experiencing negative media backlash due to activities of individuals who misuse and misrepresent its name and products in Ghana, especially in Kumasi.
The strategies will first deal with the activities of scammers who have brought the company’s image in disrepute.
Key among the strategies will be continuous engagement with the media and other persons of influence to help change the misconceptions.
Speaking at a media engagement on the sidelines of QNET VCON 2025 in Malaysia, officials from QNET unanimously agree that, “Continuous engagement with the media to educate people and also use the security authorities to clamp down on these nefarious activities is very necessary.”
Already, QNET has built strong partnerships with the Economic and Organized Crime Office and Ghana Police Service to aid the arrest of unscrupulous persons using the name of the brand to perpetrate illegality.

For many years, the direct selling company’s image has been brought into disrepute by some unscrupulous persons.
Under the QNET identity, these unscrupulous persons sometimes traffic people in and out of Ghana and recruit others for their selfish interest.
They sometimes convince these unsuspecting individuals to invest some amounts in products and join them.
In recent years, the company has taken bold initiatives to deal with the situation, including the establishment of a compliance office in Ghana to facilitate engagement with all the company’s statekeholder and ensure faster resolution of identified fraud cases or complaints.
Group Chief Communications Officer for QNET, Ramya Chandrasekaran indicated, “We understand that there are a lot of hotspot offices in Ghana especially Kumasi, hotspots in terms of human trafficking issues coming up in Kumasi so we have opened this compliance office with the primary aim of it being a point for any regulatory authority or law enforcement agency to engage with us and we offer them our cooperation in apprehending people who have been misusing our name.”

The V-Malaysia Conference organized by the QNET, is the largest gathering of the company’s key stakeholders.
Over ten thousand independent distributors (IDs) from over thirty countries including Ghana were present at this year’s event hosted at the Spice Arena, the largest multipurpose indoor venue in Malaysia (Northern Region).
The opening event was colorful and electrifying with traditional performances being the centre of attraction.
The crowd which comprised of representatives from more than 30 countries, were electrified by the performances.
The peak of the launch was the presentation by the two founders of the global wellness and lifestyle company.
Founders of the wellness and lifestyle company QNET, Dato Sri’ Vijay Eswaran and Joseph Japadas Bismark have admonished the company’s Independent Distributors to unite towards mutual wellbeing through opportunities offered by the company.
To them, working in unity is essential in succeeding in entrepreneurship.
Delivering a joint speech, the company-founders revealed they had to join forces in ensuring they pushed each other towards building a successful business module.
“It was a big change for me to meet someone who would be interested in my growth, that actually believed in me more than I believed in myself,” Mr. Bismark said, recognising the impact Dato Sri Eswaran has had on his life.
“We wanted financial freedom and we wanted to impact the world. These were our primary objectives when we set out 27 years ago,” Dato Sri Vijay Eswaran gleefully reflected.
The V-Malaysia conference will run until September 17th with presentations from key stakeholders within the company.
Products of the company are also at display for patrons of the conference.
