Ghanaians aged 60 and above will enjoy free admission to the opening night of the iconic stage play “I Told You So!” on March 5, 2026, courtesy of Fiifi Coleman Productions in partnership with the National Theatre of Ghana and the National Film Authority.
Seniors are required to present a valid ID at the National Theatre to access the special offer.
Fiifi Coleman Productions is reviving the celebrated classic by Bob Cole, a work widely cherished for its exploration of family, greed, morality and the enduring values that continue to shape Ghanaian society. Its return to the National Theatre signals a renewed celebration of Ghana’s cultural heritage and storytelling tradition.
The production features an impressive cast of Ghanaian stars, including Fred Amugi, Mr Beautiful, Clemento Suarez, Adjetey Anang and highlife icon Gyedu-Blay Ambolley, who will make his first appearance in a stage play. They will be joined by TikTok sensation Deaconess Abokoma. The organisers say their combined artistry promises audiences a vibrant, humorous and emotionally engaging experience.
Speaking on the revival, producer and director Fiifi Coleman said the return of the play is both a tribute to Bob Cole’s legacy and a reminder of the timeless lessons embedded in Ghanaian theatre. “This play speaks to who we are as a people – our humour, our struggles, our values. Bringing it back to the stage is a gift to both older and younger generations.”
The free entry initiative for seniors underscores the production’s commitment to honouring Ghana’s elders and ensuring they remain connected to the nation’s artistic and cultural life.
The play will stage on March 5 and 6 at 7:00 pm, and March 7 and 8 at 4:00 pm and 8:00 pm
Tickets are selling at GHS 200 regular and GHS 300 VIP.
