The National Service Authority (NSA) has announced Thursday, January 23, 2026, as the final day for nurses and midwives who completed their studies in 2025 to enrol for the 2026/2027 national service year.
The Authority opened online registration on Monday, January 19, with the release of Personal Identification Number (PIN) codes for 6,867 eligible professionals. Applicants have four days to complete the process and secure placement.
Prospective national service personnel are required to pay a registration fee of GH¢41.00 via Mobile Money on any network before accessing the enrolment platform.
They can retrieve their PIN codes on the NSA website, https://gnsa.gov.gh/home, using their student identification numbers and dates of birth.
Eligibility is limited to nurses and midwives who passed the March and April 2025 Licensing Examinations, often referred to as the minor season, administered by the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Ghana.
The Council submitted the list of qualified candidates to the NSA on Friday, January 16, 2026.
In a statement issued on Monday, NSA Director-General, Ruth Dela Seddoh, urged all prospective service personnel to complete their registration within the stipulated timeframe to avoid missing the exercise.
