UK remittances to Ghana fall to 17.5% in 2025, down from 28% in 2024 — Bank of Ghana

Data from the Bank of Ghana shows the share of remittances from the UK to Ghana dropped to 17.5% in 2025 from 28% in 2024. Governor Dr Johnson Asiama says diaspora inflows must be better channelled into investment to support long-term growth.
