President Mahama grants amnesty to 998 prisoners across Ghana

President John Dramani Mahama has granted amnesty to 998 prisoners in Ghana, commuting sentences and pardoning first-time offenders, the elderly, the seriously ill, and nursing mothers to ease prison congestion.
