Akosua, a 20-year-old student from the University of Ghana, earned the coveted crown at the grand finale held on Saturday, November 22nd.
She triumphed over nine talented finalists, impressing the judges with her intelligence, poise, and her committed social initiative.
Her winning platform, the ‘4E Initiative: Empowering Youth Through Enterprise and Education’, is set to be the focus of her year.
Akosua aims to directly address Ghana’s youth unemployment challenge, which officially stands around 13.4% nationally, but is significantly higher among young graduates.
Her project is focused on establishing skills training hubs and providing vocational and digital expertise to at least 500 young women in key regions.
Miss Malaika: A Legacy of Empowerment
The Miss Malaika Ghana pageant, now in its 23rd anniversary year, continues to distinguish itself as a leading empowerment platform that prioritises intellect, social impact, and career development over mere physical beauty.
