Aside from a trade involving Kevin Durant, sending the 15-time All-Star to the Houston Rockets, the NBA offseason hasn’t given fans much but rumors.
One of the main rumors swirling the NBA landscape is the potential departure of Giannis Antetokounmpo from the Milwaukee Bucks. While Antetokounmpo has three years left on his contract, trade rumors have been spotlighted at Milwaukee.
Antetokounmpo has made it clear that he would like to compete for another NBA title, challenging the Bucks to form the best team possible around the former MVP.
Amid the noise in Milwaukee, Bucks coach Doc Rivers explained that the team is communicating with Antetokounmpo frequently. He detailed the conversations, mentioning that winning is the main priority.

Last season with the Milwaukee Bucks, Giannis Antetokounmpo had one of the best seasons of his career, but the spotlight was mainly pointed toward Nikola Jokic and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, both of whom were going head-to-head in the MVP race.
Nevertheless, Antetokounmpo capped off the season posting 30.4 points, 11.9 rebounds and 6.5 assists per game.
Giannis Antetokounmpo has been with the Milwaukee Bucks since the 2013-14 season. He’s transformed himself into one of the best players in the NBA, having previously been named league MVP.
Antetokounmpo brought the Bucks an NBA title in 2021 and is looking to bring another championship to Milwaukee, but a supporting cast is necessary for results.
During the offseason, the Bucks have lost Brook Lopez to free agency and waived Damian Lillard. There will certainly be changes to the Bucks lineup in the upcoming season.
Antetokounmpo’s named has been discussed in several trade scenarios, with many linking him to some of the popular teams in the league such as, the Golden State Warriors, New York Knicks and Miami Heat.
While Antetokounmpo is under contract, he’s made it clear that he’s keeping an eye on the Bucks’ free agency moves, which some have hinted may lead to a trade out of Milwaukee.
